Tasty Halibut on a bed of wild rice with asparagus! Had a wonderful dinner! Started with the alluring smoky old fashioned and the delicious date appetizers. The salmon was served with seasonal vegetables and slivered almonds on a bed of fluffy couscous. Our server, Rachael was outstanding!
The Red Door is great experience all around! The food was on point! The staff was very kind and knowledgeable on all menu items. The drinks are all custom and made right in front of you with ingredients straight from the garden! I can't say enough great things about The Red Door In LaPorte, IN! Def will be a return customer!
The Red Door is the ultimate triple threat—amazing cocktails, delicious food, and an ambiance that makes you feel way fancier than you actually are 💅🏻 The food? Delicious. The cocktails? Almost too good (and a bonus their beer and wine selection is 🤌). And the vibe? Just the right mix of cozy and classy. The staff is awesome and I always feel right at home when I'm there! This restaurant was recommended by Open Table and we reserved a table. Had dinner with my wife on Valentine’s Day and it was very good. They had an acoustical guitarist playing, great ambience, fantastic food, and excellent service. We sat at the bar and Kim was our bartender. Came from South Bend. Worth the drive!

We really enjoy the atmosphere at the Red Door. Thursday night live acoustic music definitely made the dining experience even better. Our food was great. We had the gyro and the bottomless soup and salad. All the food was top-notch. The selection of beers had something for every beer lover. We will be back.
Had a delicious dinner tonight at The Red Door. We started with smoky Old Fashioneds which came out with wooden covers that released the wonderful wood smoke when removed. Perfect fall spirits to start the evening! We then enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates that were prepared perfectly. I ordered the gyro for my entree and it was tender and delicious! And because we had mentioned it was our anniversary when we made the reservation, we received a delightful baklava for dessert! Our server, Rachael was attentive and extremely helpful and made our dinner a wonderful experience. We’ll be back soon!
From the moment you walk in the door, the upscale atmosphere with a beautiful, warm, relaxed vibe will sweep you off your feet. Stop in for a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or a craft beer & listen to live low-key music every Wed. & Thur. Night. The staff & owner are on point. The food presentation & taste were amazing ! You'll taste the smoked flavor of the wood fire oven. Found my favorite wine from Italy ! Put this on you "Have to Go".& make a reservation. Summers fill up fast !!!
I loved my server. She was awesome. Sorry I didn't remember her name but she was amazing. The food was great. Chicken alfredo was great. The drinks were even better.
Overall very impressed. We went with a group for lunch. We ordered a mixture of small plates and pizzas. all of the small plates were very tasty and made for a nice variety. Would highly recommend if in the area.
